Teaching Aids Exhibition Evaluation
Our school teachers slayed at the self-made teaching aids exhibition and evaluation event for primary and secondary schools in Anqing! To be concrete, three teachers, Wang Yumeng, Chen Liqin and Sheng Ping, jointly created the work 'Handcrafted Splendor, Illuminating the Huiyin Artistic Architecture' for the primary school science group, and Hu Yongyong's work 'Shadow Puppet Theater' for the junior high school art group, both of which won the first prizes and advanced to the provincial exhibition evaluation.
What's more, in the provincial exhibition, the science group's works from the Primary School Department won the provincial first prize, while the art group's works from the Junior High School Department won the provincial third prize.
Furthermore, the provincial competition venue was filled with experts, with the entries submitted being all highly creative. At the exhibition review site, teacher Wang Yumeng (as the representative of the science group) and Teacher Hu Yongyong respectively presented their works. With the ingenious conception, profound educational content and vivid explanations of their works, they received widespread attention and unanimous praise from the on-site judges and observing colleagues.
For one thing, the primary school science group's 'Handcrafted Splendor, Illuminating the Huiyin Artistic Architecture': This work was jointly created by three teachers, Wang Yumeng, Chen Liqin, and Sheng Ping, which innovatively integrated various power generation methods with the local landmark buildings. During the process of exploring scientific principles, students can simultaneously experience the unique charm of the local culture, achieving a two-way empowerment of 'scientific inquiry' and 'cultural inheritance'.
For another, the junior high art group's 'Shadow Puppet Theater': This work designed by Teacher Hu Yongyong integrates intangible cultural heritage shadow puppetry into classroom teaching, providing students with a complete practical platform covering shadow puppet drawing, carving, and stage performance, which effectively stimulates students' creativity and further deepens their love for traditional culture.
In conclusion, this exhibition evaluation achieved excellent results, which is a manifestation of the long-term encouragement of teaching innovation and the emphasis on interdisciplinary integration in our school. More remarkably, in the future, our school will continue to support teachers' professional development, deepen classroom teaching, and use innovative teaching aids to illuminate the teaching process, thereby empowering the all-round growth of students!
